
This is a big week for us as we hit our 3rd year anniversary! Things have been busy with new projects on the horizon. I am thankful and feel blessed to be able to do what I do and make a living at it. Thank you to all my client’s and colleague’s who have keep us going and pushed us to do more! We look forward to the future - CHEERS!

You may have noticed it’s been a couple of months since we have posted on our blog, our apologies. We have been extra, extra busy these past few months. April was spent finalizing our wedding/honeymoon plans for our nuptials at the beginning of May. That of course also meant we had a slew of project deadlines to meet before I took a two week hiatus for the occasion.

The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something…
I know it has been a while since I’ve posted anything….things have been busy, both personally (our wedding is just a few weeks away!) as well as professionally.
Like most creatives we run into the occasional creative rut for various reasons. As of late, for me that reason has been to much clutter in my head. With so much on my plate I tend to find myself overwhelmed, which then leads to my lack of concentration and ultimately my lack of creativity. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s a time of re-design for a couple of major design resources. Just yesterday How Design launched it’s new and improved website. Much different from it’s previous version, it has a more blog/online magazine feel to it. Providing everything you would want to find on the site on the home page. I have to say I do like the menu set-up much better than their previous click and scroll menu. The flash(ing) headlines of feature stories is a nice touch as well.
Other features that are improved are they have placed their more visited areas of; Creativity, Business, Career, Forums and Competitions on the home page with a short descriptions for newbies to the site. Along with a section of recent article and blog posts of to the side.
The only problem with it is, it has a very similar feel to the newly redesigned Communications Art web site. Read the rest of this entry »
